IBM Plex Serif – Serif Fonts Free for Commercial Use

IBM Plex Serif is a neutral yet friendly serif typeface that embodies the spirit and history of IBM. Its design features a balance between a Grotesque style and engineered details, ensuring excellent legibility across various mediums. The typeface family includes multiple styles, contributing to its versatility in both print and digital interfaces.

IBM Plex Serif was developed by the IBM Brand & Experience team (BX&D), led by Mike Abbink, in collaboration with Bold Monday as part of the corporate typeface for IBM worldwide. The intention was to illustrate the unique relationship between mankind and machine, a central theme for IBM since the early 2000s.
